PATTERN design for limited edition product.

Giving opinions and drawing for a fascinating object.

I am not an industrial designer, but when they asked me to collaborate with Adriano Design to imagine a commemorative premium machine based on its award-winnig Storm, I had two very clear things.

The first, completely shared with Adriano, was that we could not propose an object subject to trends and that meant, above all, a return to the analogue in a sector obsessed with digital interfaces.

The second was my fascination with the wonderful metal surfaces created by Decastelli. Specifically, I wanted to apply a fascinating copper fabric, the Tela Tundra. But the technical and economic impossibility of using this material led me to drawing the pattern that would become the character of the machine, along with its spectacular analog interface create by Adriano Design.
